Produced and concepted shoots to inspire speculation about the series, meant to scare and be shared in the pre-release stage
By working closely with showrunner Mike Flanagan, my team lead an innovative intrigue campaign around Reddit’s popular r/nosleep forum which was discovered by diehards and continually celebrated, long after the show premiered. This activation was a Shorty Award Finalist.
Then, post-launch, we let the fandom do its work as viewers poured over episodes, counting hidden ghosts and continuing their social discussion, celebrating the horror show that brought families together. We extended our campaign by months given the organic social chatter. Hey, even Ariana Grande was a stan.
